"New cabinets"
A house around the corner is being flipped, and I was talking to the two guys about my cabinets (which I greatly dislike), and they said if they were hardwood I could strip them and do whatever I wanted to them. Who knew? (probably a lot of people) Anyway, they are hardwood, and we are obviously at the point of no return. I have been stripping most of the paint and Duane started doing the sanding today. It all sanded right off (like the door). Can't wait to put the done pictures on here.

Nice! I bet they'll look great!
I am actually using the same stain from our floors again. They do show more dirt than our house in Mobile (really light floors) did, but, they show less scratches, and are great for tonka truck racing, indoor bike riding etc. What kind of wood do you guys have? These floors are oak, but, I would do something different with something like pine.
It is MinWax Mocha. I also used a flat finish poly. Are you staining both the living room and the hallway? DIY or are you having it done?
It's laurarenfroe@yahoo.com
